Wendy Sacks, CMT

Wendy Sacks is a certified massage therapist in the state of California. She began her part-time studies in 2001 at the School of Healing Arts in San Diego. After taking a hiatus from massage to manage the Finance and Accounting Department of a San Diego Health and Wellness Company, in 2009 she returned to the School of Healing Arts to engage in a 200-hour review course and then completed the few remaining course requirements for California State Licensure. She received her Certified Massage Therapist Certification in 2010.

In January 2011, she jumpstarted her therapeutic massage practice. Delivering either independent full body massage therapy or as an adjunct therapy in support of acupuncture treatment, Wendy delivers intuitive massage that makes use of a variety of modalities and techniques to create a custom therapeutic massage. A 60-minute session could make use of relaxing and regenerating parasympathetic massage, aromatherapy and facial massage with jade rollers while another may include a combination of circulatory massage, crossfiber massage, deep tissue techniques and trigger point therapy.
